After YEARS of tediously tending to my precious poached eggs, by boiling the water in a big pot, then adding the white wine vinegar, then stirring the water and THEN waiting for the perfect moment to drop the eggs in, I am now a CLING FILM CONVERT.
Ah Twitter. Just where WOULD I be without you?
Today, my new TFF (Twitter Friend Forever) Gemmies started a revolution in Twitterwood.
Just watch THIS and all will be revealed. Then...
You will need:
Eggs
Butter / spread
Bread to toast
Ramekin
Cling film
Ketchup (optional)
Make it!
Grab a length of cling film and lay it out over the top of the ramekin. Rub some butter inside (to prevent the egg from sticking). Crack the egg into the ramekin, gather up the ends of cling film, squeeze out any excess air, then tie the ends into a knot. Plop into pan of boilng water and wait 3 minutes. DONE.
Eat it! QUICK! Before it gets cold!
