I HEART A GOOD GIRLIE READ

I was off on a working holiday the other week...

I say "holiday".  But four days of non-stop Compliance conversation would have almost been the DEATH of me, had it not been for I Heart New York. 

I got a copy of this lovely little paperbook free with a copy of GLAMOUR magazine I picked up at the airport, and it might have just saved my life.  Well it sure helped me unwind from a day doing risk assessments and the like.

I Heart New York is an outstanding story, amusingly well written, and just an excellent excuse for some girlie escapism really.  I've now had to order the other 2 books by this remarkable Lindsey Kelk lady.

It has also made me wanna book a trip back to New York.  NYC.  The Big Apple.  So good they named it twice.  I got engaged there in 2001 and I'd LOVE to drag my hubby back and re-visit all the old places with him. AND all the NEW places I have learned about whilst reading this nifty novel.   l might have to see what dirty deal Expedia can do for me... Just don't tell my husband...  Not just yet... x
